In March 22nd 2018, the Board of Directors of APAVE Group included Chairman Mainet, Chairman Le Van Phuc, Co-Director of APAVE International Emmanuel Petit, Deputy General Director of APAVE International/ General Director of APAVE Asia - Pacific Nguyen Cong Phu and Co-CEO of APAVE Asia - Pacific Tran Nam Trung have met, working at the office of the Ministry of Transport. Attending the meeting was Minister Nguyen Van The; Director of International Cooperation Department Le Tuan Anh and other leaders of Ministry of Transport.     At the meeting, on behalf of APAVE Group, Chairman Mainet introduced to the Minister about APAVE Group with more than 150 years of establishment and development. The Chairman had expressed the sincere thanks to Minister Nguyen Van The and the Ministry of Transport for supporting APAVE Asia - Pacific for many years in various activities such as roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, civil aviation, metro and railways, seaports ... The chairman also expressed that Viet Nam has and will continue to strengthen its North-South infrastructure development program for roads and railways. In addition to the construction of domestic and international airports, large seaports ... APAVE will actively work with Vietnamese partners to assist the Ministry of Transport in establishing and implementing the project with outstanding PMC/ CM expertise. The Minister highly appreciated APAVE's contribution to the transport projects, especially the Deo Ca tunnel project. The Minister is very supportive of APAVE's strategies and expects APAVE to be more involved in transport projects such as road, aviation, seaports, especially in PPP projects.
Within the framework of the official visit to France, on March 27th, 2018, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong met representatives of Association of French Employers (Mouvement des Entreprises de France - MEDEF) in Paris.   Dr. Nguyen Cong Phu - Deputy General Director of APAVE International and General Director of APAVE Asia - Pacific   At the meeting, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong witnessed some big enterprises of France and Vietnam signed agreements, in which APAVE signed an agreement on cooperation in transport infrastructure development. On behalf of APAVE, Mr. Mainet - Chairman of the Group, Mr. Le Van Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Group, Dr. Nguyen Cong Phu - Deputy General Director of APAVE International and General Director of APAVE Asia - Pacific participated in this important diplomatic event.

The starting point of the project locates at Km1353 + 150 National Road 1 in Phu Yen province, the last point of the project is at Km1374 + 525 National Highway 1 in Khanh Hoa province. The total length of the project is 13.2 km, including Ca pass tunnel with 4.125m length, Co Ma tunnel with 500m length. Both tunnels have state-of-the-art scale and equipment in the existing tunnels on National Highway 1, with two parallel tunnels, each with two lanes in the same direction, allowing maximum speed at 80km / h. This is the first large-scale tunnel project implemented in the form of BOT (Build – Operate - Transfer Contract) with domestic capital, implemented by the investor and the Vietnamese contractor. Total investment of project is VND 11,378 billion. Ca Pass tunnel putting into operation marked the big step in the development of Vietnamese experts and engineers; shortens the passing time from 60 minutes into 10 minutes, connects Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces in the process of socio-economic development, as well as facilitating transportation between the southern central provinces and the whole country. APAVE Asia - Pacific has cooperated with Deo Ca investor from the beginning of the project. In the role of leader of construction supervision consortium: APAVE - DOHWA (Korea) – TEDISOUTH, throughout 5 years of implementation, APAVE has assigned over 60 experienced engineers and experts implementing at this project. General Director Nguyen Cong Phu and the Board of Directors always follow the project closely to give direction and support on-line, on-time for the project. During the implementation process, APAVE and Dr Nguyen Cong Phu received many certificates of merit from the Minister of Transport with outstanding achievements in project implementation. On April 14th 2017, Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) - a member of Vietnam Airlines held a ceremony to announce EASA-145 Maintenance Organization Approval Certificate  issued by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). APAVE’s representatives were General Director Nguyen Cong Phu, Mr. Theodore Nguyen Tan Hon – Director of Aviation Development and Ms. Nguyen Bich Hang – Director of Communication. EASA-145 certification is very important in providing maintenance services that meet the requirements of European Union’s laws. The maintenance organization that receives EASA-145 certificate, is authorized to provide maintenance, repairing and commissioning services for registered aircraft in Europe. With EASA-145 certificate, VAECO is the first and only aircraft maintenance organization in Vietnam to receive the world's prestigious certificate, expanding competence in providing maintenance services for clients in the region and the world. Over the past two years, APAVE Asia - Pacific has accompanied and consulted VAECO to meet the strict requirements of the EASA-145 standard. Through this event, APAVE again demonstrate its competence in the field of Aviation.
