APAVE signs agreement on transport infrastructure development in France under the witness of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Within the framework of the official visit to France, on March 27th, 2018, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong met representatives of Association of French Employers (Mouvement des Entreprises de France - MEDEF) in Paris.

At the meeting, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong witnessed some big enterprises of France and Vietnam signed agreements, in which APAVE signed an agreement on cooperation in transport infrastructure development.

On behalf of APAVE, Mr. Mainet - Chairman of the Group, Mr. Le Van Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Group, Dr. Nguyen Cong Phu - Deputy General Director of APAVE International and General Director of APAVE Asia - Pacific participated in this important diplomatic event.


On August 21st, 2017, Deo Ca Investment Joint Stock Company officially held a ceremony to break through the entire route and put the tunnel into operation at the northern area of Ca Pass tunnel, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen province.


The ceremony was honor to greet many senior leaders of Ministry of Transport, leaders of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces: Mr. Le Dinh Tho – Deputy Minister, Ministry of Transport; Mr. Huynh Tuan Viet – Member of Party Central Executive Committee, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Phu Yen People's Committee; Mr Luong Minh Son - Deputy Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Standing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee; Mr. Dao Cong Thien - Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong - Deputy Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee; Major General Phan Van Thanh – Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Director of Phu Yen Police Department...

Ca Pass tunnel is located between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces. The starting point of the project locates at Km1353 + 150 National Road 1 in Phu Yen province, the last point of the project is at Km1374 + 525 National Highway 1 in Khanh Hoa province. The total length of the project is 13.2 km, including Ca pass tunnel with 4.125m length, Co Ma tunnel with 500m length. Both tunnels have state-of-the-art scale and equipment in the existing tunnels on National Highway 1, with two parallel tunnels, each with two lanes in the same direction, allowing maximum speed at 80km / h.

This is the first large-scale tunnel project implemented in the form of BOT (Build – Operate - Transfer Contract) with domestic capital, implemented by the investor and the Vietnamese contractor. Total investment of project is VND 11,378 billion. Ca Pass tunnel putting into operation marked the big step in the development of Vietnamese experts and engineers; shortens the passing time from 60 minutes into 10 minutes, connects Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces in the process of socio-economic development, as well as facilitating transportation between the southern central provinces and the whole country.

APAVE Asia - Pacific has cooperated with Deo Ca investor from the beginning of the project. In the role of leader of construction supervision consortium: APAVE - DOHWA (Korea) – TEDISOUTH, throughout 5 years of implementation, APAVE has assigned over 60 experienced engineers and experts implementing at this project. General Director Nguyen Cong Phu and the Board of Directors always follow the project closely to give direction and support on-line, on-time for the project. Morever, Dr Nguyen Cong Phu gave his ideas directly to the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Investor to implement the Minister’s direction in changing EPC to Vietnamese companies for reducing capital.

The success of the project has affirmed APAVE's position in the Transport Infrastructure  sector. During the implementation process, APAVE and Dr Nguyen Cong Phu received many certificates of merit from the Minister of Transport with outstanding achievements in project implementation. At this ceremony, many APAVE engineers working in the project were honored by Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa People's Committees for their contribution to the project.

According to diplomatic procedure, this morning, April 11th 2017, General Director Nguyen Cong Phu, leader of APAVE Asia-Pacific delegation, visited French Embassy in Vietnam and met Mr Bertrand Lortholary - French Ambassador for his new term.

General Director and the delegation sent an invitation to the Ambassador to attend the 20th anniversary of APAVE Vietnam & Southeast Asia (now is Apave Asia - Pacific) 1997-2017, APAVE commits to long-term and sustainable development in Vietnam and in the region.

APAVE Asia-Pacific attending ceremony of EASA-145 Maintenance Organization Approval Certificate

On April 14th 2017, Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) - a member of Vietnam Airlines held a ceremony to announce EASA-145 Maintenance Organization Approval Certificate  issued by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The ceremony was with the presence of many senior officials of Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority and Vietnam Airlines.

APAVE’s representatives were General Director Nguyen Cong Phu, Mr. Theodore Nguyen Tan Hon – Director of Aviation Development and Ms. Nguyen Bich Hang – Director of Communication.

EASA-145 certification is very important in providing maintenance services that meet the requirements of European Union’s laws. The maintenance organization that receives EASA-145 certificate, is authorized to provide maintenance, repairing and commissioning services for registered aircraft in Europe.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Dinh Tho praised the achievements of VAECO - Vietnam Airlines, gradually affirmed its leading role, master the most advanced science and technology in the world, as well as affirming the competence and position of Vietnam aviation in the process of integration with the world.

With EASA-145 certificate, VAECO is the first and only aircraft maintenance organization in Vietnam to receive the world's prestigious certificate, expanding competence in providing maintenance services for clients in the region and the world.

Over the past two years, APAVE Asia - Pacific has accompanied and consulted VAECO to meet the strict requirements of the EASA-145 standard. Through this event, APAVE again demonstrate its competence in the field of Aviation.

Although the development of the services in this field will have more challenges, but with the "Mission of Confidence", APAVE commits to always accompany with clients, especially safety is priority first.

APAVE Asia - Pacific receiving the certification "Trusted Green – 2017”

On March 22nd 2017, APAVE Asia - Pacific received the certification of "Trusted Green 2017". This certification is surveyed by Asia- Pacific Trust Index Assessment Center, supervised by the InterConformity - Germany and Global GTA – United Kingdom and issued by Vietnamese Enterprises Institute.

"Trusted Green" certification is a true measure for evidence of environmentally-friendly, energy-saving, safe, responsible actions and groundbreaking decisions toward to sustainable consumption.
